The award-winning Ethnic Dance Theatre is one of only a few companies in the world dedicated to the preservation and artistic performance of international folk music, song and dance.
Founded in 1974 by Jonathan Frey and Donald LaCourse, EDT has performed in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Hungary and the Autonomous Region of Ossetia, Russia, as well as throughout the Upper Midwest.For five decades, Ethnic Dance Theatre has delighted in uplifting the Twin Cities community with its presentation of the inherent beauty found throughout cultures across the world.
